With an IP67 full-metal structure housing, the number “6” means that dust and other similarly sized particles will be fully prevented from entering the housing; the number “7” indicates that the product can be submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

These parameters demonstrate that dust and water are highly unlikely to penetrate the shell and damage the LCD screen inside.

Incidentally, the maximum level of waterproofing that RisingStar can achieve is IP68. The number “8” means the product can be submerged in 1 meter of water for over 30 minutes.

The tempered glass we use for outdoor waterproof digital signage offers IK10 impact protection. This is the highest standard for protecting the most vulnerable part of the LCD signage. IK10 means the glass can withstand an impact of up to 20 joules without breaking.

Additionally, the tempered glass can be customized with special treatments as needed, including coatings such as AG (anti-glare), AR (anti-reflection), and AF (anti-fingerprint). Combined with optical bonding processing, these treatments ensure that the visibility of the screen is not affected by the protective measures.
